Maybe half price if they depreciated as quickly as baby-sh*t green 340s
At least good watches are a safer place

Re: Watch lovers?
sorry.... I've spent my watch budget for the time being... ( on the Elise..
)
From what I've seen on other forums/fori (is that the correct plural??
) the 2nd hand market for watches seems to be pretty bad just now tbh. I'd hold onto the B&R for a bit if I were you. Not that I actually know anything about the 2nd hand watch market obviously...

Re: Watch lovers?
I'm going to buy a new Panerai.
I like the B&R but I know it wouldn't go down to well with her indoors if I splashed out £3500 without selling something first (especially after new bathroom and ensuite went in this week).
It's a £2200 watch which I would sell for £1850
As new, all boxes and spare strap.
Doesn't sell I'll add to the collection. She'll only be in a huff for a hour or so or I'll have to buy her some blood diamonds as a sweetner.

No, the plural is foraDDtB wrote:From what I've seen on other forums/fori (is that the correct plural??)

Gareth, no point buying a Luminor just now (I presume that's what you're going for...?) as they're not going to sell out or go up in price in the current market. I think the B&R has a limited market, but you might know more about it than I do. Might be better selling the sub?
Either way, potential for a bargain here S_Eers

Second Hand Watches?
Current climate equates to subtract VAT from list price ........then divide by two.
I added a watch to the Boag collection last week for the princely sum of £120
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEIKO-MEN-MONSTER ... 240%3A1318
The watch forums are not unlike SE and are full of great banter and myths regarding certain models.
Look out for Seiko Monster Diver's watches which are occaisionally available on Ebay and TZUK.(DDTB .....I've seen your posts)
They were developed to compete with Rolex Sub's in the far east market and Seiko developed an automatic movement without peer for the challenge. They allegedly lost £600 on every one that they sold due to the build cost
The favoured model is black face with stainless straps but there is a whole world out there in the far east that are customising them with different faces and straps
Grab yourself a bargain for christmas and get one.........the quality is excellent

I was tempted by that modded monster the other day on TZUK actually.... but as usual, was too slow off the mark whilst I did some research!H8OAG wrote:Second Hand Watches?

Splashed out on one of these instead... just fancied a full lume dial and don't have a DC37/57/67 budget just yet!

although now I quite fancy an orange dial model too...

Re: Watch lovers?
That's a nice watch always had a soft spot for a Bell & Ross, but don't think i can justfy splashing out on another, at least not this year! What Panerai are you looking at? absolutely love mine, especially after i changed the strap to something nicer.Gareth wrote:BR03-92shooomer wrote:Gareth

Just picked up one of these for much cheapness for an everyday watch.

Nice if you like big watches. It is big!

The Panerai is a nice watch to have.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
