I'm going down on the 9th. Plan is to leave GLA after work on the Thursday and kip over in a travel lodge, do the show on the Friday and head back up the road.

09 license arrived on Christmas eve so entry's not a problem :D

I'm heading down with some teenagers from the local Boys' Brigade and a Minibus.

Was going to post once I figure out if there are any spare seats :P

Will be leaving EDI around midnight and heading straight back afterthe show on the Sat, sharing the driving between the 3 or 4 of us who are over 25.

I'll post up in a few days if I can offer any seats 8)

Was wanting to go to this, not sure how to break it to the misses though. All she will see is an opportunity for me to want more shinny bits for the car...............which she hates :(

Done feck all so far.

Looking at Saturday show, drive down Fri afternoon, back Sat night.
I can push the button on tickets, best I can get is a 2 for 1 deal (£31 the pair).
Any particular time for the 'Live Action Arena'?

I thought we could stay somewhere north of Birmingham on the Fri night? Travelslodge etc.?
Mike, are you wanting to travel down with Scotty and I in the Beemer?

Might be able to find some floor space if I ask the folks in WS9, about 20 mins form NEC.

I'll be going on Saturday.

I'm getting in for free.

Just requires a disabled person to push around in a wheel chair all day...

Mike,
The 2 for 1 deal is a promo code, I couldn't find any better deals. Cheers though and if you can find anyhing better... :thumbsup

Stu,
When are you leaving and returning. We were going to head down Fri afternoon, travelslodge it somewhere on the Friday night then and drive back after the show on Sat night. Who's going in your posse? The whole family or just you and Steven?
It's up to Scotty of course but looks like it'll be just me and him in the Beemer so could take 2 more (so long as you promise not to kick the back of my seat all the way). ;) :D

The beemer has no back leg room at all with the seat back. I think the Voyager will be a better plan? Room for Ali and I to get 40 winks

I have some tyres to take to EDH and also a package for Ed.

Sounds like a plan?
