cheapest place for Tyre Gel??

k I know it sounds a bit gaeh but a little bit of tyre gel to backen the tyres not only makes it look like you just washed the whole car but makes those old worn tyres look like they're brand new an just been fitted

Problem is Halfrauds want £5.99 for some tyre gel, ffs there must be somewhere cheaper than that? Sadly asda an tesco don't seem to sell it!?

I picked some up at the barras a few years ago for a pound a can and it was guff.

Stop being so tight and buy the decent stuff from Halfords!

lol surely 'Halfrauds' and 'good stuff' in the same sentence is a slip of the tongue?? No arguments about the 'tight' bit tho

I'm thinking the birds 'Nivea Body' cream might have the same effect? Yes its more expensive than Halfrauds tyre gel..... but not to me

Nah seriously, the spray clear turtlewax stuff and also the meguiars stuff is da bomb, not sure if Halfords sell Megs, but I bumped some off a mate last week and tyres still look fresh.

I had some spray stuff an it just didnt last long enough. Plus it was a pain trying to keep it off the body work and the overspray on the wheels attracted brake dust.
Aint seen the Meguires one, do like their stuff tho.

I use a product called Autogloss (got it from Floorbrite Products Ltd in Rutherglen but it is more widely available), comes in a 5 litre bottle & costs about £10. Decant into a smaller bottle & apply with an old sponge, saves spraying it all over your wheels & bodywork.

Aint u gotta watch what u put on the tyres tho? I have a bottle of 'back to black' and it states very cleary do not apply to tyres! But maybe cause they want u to buy the tyre gel @ £5.99??

5 litres for £10 sounds a bit more like it tho!!!
