Managed to get to KH today - dry(ish) except for the last 20 mins. A little slippery for the first few laps but got some good sessions later on, but quite a lot of red flags - one under my nose when a scooby did a 360 at Carlube/Clarks.

Typically cold day at KH, one funny moment when a Skyline got stuck in the mud at the hairpin, then the KH rescue truck got stuck, cue shrugging of shoulders.

Dave, I see you got the aeroscreen. Which make is it? Do you like it?

Yes, did a bit of work over the winter - aero from Caterham (ouch!), but the best upgrade was the racing seats - no sore back this time. A few other tweaks to get rid of excess weight - heaters & wiper motor gone etc.

The track was a bit cold and slippery so I didn't get any quick laps, but when I could get heat in the tyres, it seemed quicker.

Thought we might see you - weather too iffy?

All you need now is a set of half doors!

See you soon.

Had great fun yesterday - managed to get about 20 minutes when the track was empty and the sun was beating down!

Great day :)

Great Day!

Finally got the car out with the supercharger on Sat! Was going really well! Well pleased with it - and it lasted the 4 hours no probs!!!!

Took the first couple of sessions easy, with the new supercharger, clutch, flywheel, brakes, polybushes all fitted over the last few months thought it was wise too!

Car was handling really well, and the new brakes were awesome with no fade, power was up with the new supercharger and the car felt a lot quicker - esp up the straights (obviously!) but also through Duffus up to the chicane :D

Never really felt we pushed it as hard as we could have, still careful until the engine is mapped but we managed a respectable 1min 02 sec lap - most of all it was great fun!

Hopefully the car will be mapped before the Trackscotland day on the 7th, and we can start to push it harder!

Met Michael again, 2 seconds after chatting to a mate about regretting selling the exige I bump into Michael (who bought it off me!) - good to see you again - shame the car wasnt on track!

Had a good session at the end with the two elises (black and red? Cant remember!) Who was this?? Think they were chatting to Craig from Kartstart at the end?

Got some video footage to post at some point! Unfortunately not of the elises tho!

Cheers

Barrie

I was following for a few laps and your car looked good - nice and stable with out any drama. I kind of thought you weren't gunning it as the pace was similar to what I remember last year - looking forward to the next one.

:cheers
