Rich you get glo sticks about that length which should keep ninja happy.
Looks good, get some black hose though.
Did you get anywhere with the heater light kits you were going to pur together?
Blocked washer jets - gotta solution
Yes I've got loads of bits for more light kits if anyone wants any, I have blue, orange (Like mine) and yellow (better match for the stack I think).Stephen wrote:Rich you get glo sticks about that length which should keep ninja happy.

Let me know what you want and I'll put it together. All it'll need is a couple of holes in the heater control surround, a bit of a cunning bit of wire feeding thru the dash and a couple of the (Spawn of the devil!) scotch lock clips.
They are dimmable by the pot to get the intensity right. And as someone pointed out my red look matches my head unit.
Who wants?

Painted it black (Sorry ninja, I did polish it for a laugh but I couldn't do that to her!) and fitted some blach heat shrink to the clear pipe, you can't see it unless you look for it. Fitted along the gutter at the bottom of the w/s and thru te drain hole, easily removable and no cutting of the bodywork!
The jets are fitted and work fantastically, one pass to fill the tube the return soaks the whole screen!
Would take pics but it's dark and raining.

Fitted my 405 spray bar tonight. I got the part ages ago from a helpful Peugeot parts guy.
The spray bar doesn't come with clips to attach the bar to the wiper, and peuget don't sell these separate - they come fitted tot he 405 wiper arm. But said helpful bod called along to Halfords for me - they (at least Kirkcaldy branch do) keep a selection of bits like this in the parts drawer.
So in to Halfords and 30 seconds later, and at no charge, I have my clips to go with the spray bar.
Easy enough to fit on the R - there is a 1-way valve just before the fitted factory fitted sprayer, remove this from the sprayer end, fit the spray bar to the wiper, and I drilled a 12mm hole through the leaf-catcher thingy, put a grommet around the washer hose, and fitted this to the grommet. Easy to fit the hose ensemble together, and test.
Much more efficient spay now.
Well chuffed, and total cost about £6.50.

My washer fluid pisses out every time I come to a halt on the brakes. Empties the bottle every couple of days. I figure it's the little button sized valve in front of the T-piece that's shot. Also empties through gravity if parked nose down on a hill. I tried fitting a valve I had (Ford I think) lying around at the output side of the pump (easier to get to than under the "bonnet") but it didn't allow fluid to pass at all. So what's different with the original valve ?. Or, could it be the pump ?. The fluid is getting through the pump due to gravity obviously but this shouldn't happen. Pump works fine otherwise.
