Greg,

I haven’t seen one in the metal but am keen to. I had been thinking about the old sea dweller so when the new one came out I thought I’d have a look.

I do have a client who has one and he has said he’ll try and remember to wear it next time I see him. When you say massive, how much bigger than the standard case size is it.

How are things at D&W? Some bad news kicking about over the last few weeks.

All fine with me mate - I think the leagal 'arguers' are safe ;)

As for the Deep Sea, I would guess the case is about 1cm thick, so with crystal etc it will sit about 1.5 cm proud on the wrist. Here's a piccy I nabber from a watch site:-

Dan,

It won't get any cheaper, so better get one while they are still good value.

Any mileage in picking up one of the recently discontinued models? I like the Black and Green K24. Do you think they will appreciate better?

Its very difficult to tell with watches but I think Welder stands a good chance. All Welder watches are limited editions so if I were you, I'd buy the one you like.

I bought it from Harvey Nick in Edinburgh. Last time, I was there, they had about 10 different models in stock. May be cheaper to buy through Internet though.

happy hunting.

Dan

If you are ever in London......Go to Harrods

Large display of everything

Bought the present Mrs Boag a watch and they gave me £900 off list price without too much ...."I am here to buy and if we do not agree a price ....I will walk away talk..... in a raised voice  ".

The guy next to me paid full whack on a £9k cartier without bartering...........I guess it shows my upbringing/lack of cash :D

For anyone who doesn't like haggling or is no good at it, Terminal 5 at heathrow is a good place to go. They have a decent collection, very friendly and happy to let you try on anything in stock. Mate has just paid a deposit on a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. As prices are VAT free, £1k off list straight away. :thumbsup

After a trip in the Lake District at the weekend I have spotted some TW Steel Watches. Really caught my eye, especially the orange one. Anyone have any opinions on these?

I was looking at the sqaure faced one and also the orange one. I thought the price was rather good at £315 for the orange one and quite tempted to get one, but never have heard of them before I spotted them in the lake district. Really eyecatching watch.

This limited edition one also caught my eye

As far as watches go, they are relatively cheap so if you like the design get one Scott.

Yeah I do like the design, very nice watches IMO. Couple of weeks though before I do it. First its tyres brakes insurance and MOT, what a lovely month. Also looking at http://www.christopherward.co.uk/ which is an interesting read :D

I've just sold my TW22. For £100 more than I bought it for.

Really nice watch but a bit uncomfortable as the crown was on the right and they are really big. Nice and sturdy as Phil sayas though. They feel really well made and look great. A nice fashion watch.

Just bought a Welder K24 3001 which has the crown on the left so much more comfy.
