Morning gents, Mark Craig here.

I logged on this morning to post a little note about our Jim Clark doc's broadcast over Easter - and I see one has to get up early to beat Mr Critcher!

Thanks Gary for your kind comments about the film and mention of its airing. We have been given provisional date of Monday 20th, 8.00pm, BBC4 for 'Jim Clark - The Quiet Champion', though I must stress this is subject to confirmation. I'll be sure to post precise info when it's all set in stone.

Cedric, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to speak to you / thank you last night for your contribution to the film. It was very much appreciated. It was clearly an emotional night for yourself and others.

Of all the various documentaries I've made either for MSP or otherwise, this one on Jim seemed to generate an amazing amount of goodwill and help from a large number of people who wanted to see it made. He was clearly a much-loved man and I feel the resulting film owes much to everyone's kind assistance. Many thanks on behalf of MSP and from myself personally. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and putting it all together.

Anyway, if we can spread the word and generate a few bums on seats as it were, then hopefully the film will end up on BBC2, which would be nice. Looking forward to seeing the BBCs coverage of F1 and hope that some of the new F1 audience are interested enough in finding out a little more of what Jim Clark was all about.

I'll keep you posted of any developments.

All best,

Mark
