What a result the colour looks awesome
Did you know from day one that was the plan for the car?
Looking at the finished result the colour really but works did you ever have second thoughts about picking grey over something more outrageous?
Yeah, I loved the look of my old S1 Exige and when I sold that I was way out-pimped by Phil in his s1 exige, but fancied the Honda - this way I got to spec exactly what I wanted, things like the roof/enginecover/colour.

I have to park it in the city centre 24/7 so an outrageous loud colour was out on that count as well as I have done that when I had the yellow S2Exige. Also my girlfriend threatened to never get in it if it was a stupid colour

Funny thing is, it now looks out there but in a totally different way and stands out as much as it probably would if it was a fluorescent colour.
Aye, cos folk are walking past wondering when you'll get further than primering it...

nah, jus' kidding - really like that and I bet it's the big hairy swingers in the flesh...

There's an Audi TT and Seat Leon colour which looks much more like primer than JJ's - yuk! ;-)

Also Lunar Grey on the clio V6s which is the same.

This colour has a metallic fleck and lots of pearl in it, the TT etc is flat grey and a bit cack.

Yep, I can just about get the spirit of "JJ's colour" as I think it will now be known! No question that it really suits the "Elige" and has a menacing yet understated aspect :thumbsup

I survive on positivity and enthusiasm...you're just bringing me down. :)
You need cheered up...go and see how many boxes of mars bars you could fit in the skoda's boot...

:cheers
G,

What was unfortunately lost in your wee quote was this...

If that ain't positivity, I dunno what is ;-)

As for Mars Bars. Hm. At risk of bringing anyone down, very bad for you...especially by the boxload :damnfunny

What will certainly cheer me up is to fit all our camping holiday gear into the Skoda boot, rather than having to employ Elise-packing technologies to squeeze it into both the Golf boot AND Roofbox, as was the previous convention!

Not long now then.

[END OF THREAD DRIFT...honest JJ!]

Well i dropped off a disk of images at JJ's last night,

He commented on my lovely parking,

but his computer thinks it doesn't have a disk drive,

so i will need to post up the images when i get home, but from the text last night, i'm pretty sure he is overwhelmed by them!

Yeah they look OK

Between me taking the pics on page 1 and the pics below the car was resprayed again. It also had a day of flattening and polishing. Finish is incredible. It now has over £1100 worth of just paint on it  Fortunately I didnt have to pay for it all.

Just need to get the vinyls on and its maybe finished

Pictures are really good, top work adam.

Scotty - I agree but he is too tight for them.

Shug - if it was any lower it wouldnt fit over the collapsable bollard into his carpark, same reason why he hasnt fitted the splitter like mine.
