I have recently revisited Stone roses-second coming, contentious album, slated by the critics, but the guitar by Mr Squire on that album is second to none i think. Also, as a bit of a curve ball, take a look at spanky wilson and the quantic soul ochestra if you fancy some all out funk.

Jungle Bill. One of the best bass tracks ever. Ideal for auditioning Linn hifi (which was the first time I heard it!). Loved it so much I bought it. The CD, that is...the hifi would have involved an additional mortgage
