Unless the above is nonsense then my Seamaster is likely alive & kicking. It's not a battery issue as it's not doing the 2 second sweep so must be related to the above quote w.r.t winding. I had no idea and thought it all revolved around the battery life.

I have one. A bling watch with diamonds

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

There's a write up in latest edition of QP about the tie-up. Also a good article on the Tag Heuer Monaco being 40 years old now and how it took off and became a cult watch via Steve McQueen and the Le Mans film.

QP is about the only decent watch magazine out there. Here is a link to the website but most of the articles you can't access unless you subscribe. Best with the old fashioned magazine.

Gents, some guidance if you would.
I'm not a watch-geek but I know, basically, what I want.
I'd like a steel Rolex, black face: believe it would be a Daytona? Model names and prices and where do I buy please!?

Daytona is going to be £6k+
You can get most of the "sports" Rolex models in the black + steel - explorer, submariner - have a look here for models
