This has just been cancelled, (I was meant to be going as part of the Hondas-on-Track session, sharing with LoT)

NIMBYs winning the battle it seems.

Shame, it was a great fun track, with a nice drive down from Edinburgh (A68)

:(

There is good news though, fingers crossed for the double header in July.

From Paul Golding:
It’s looking likely that events will continue but the circuit have purchased new noise measuring equipment and that is now approximately 6 weeks away from being installed

That's good news, I was hoping that ours would not be cancelled.

Apparently 98dB drive-by metering is being installed.

Only stock oem exhausts likely to pass this?

98db should cover most Loti - even my stage 2 on the 111r was about 96 and it was knackered
AMG GT-R

98db is too low for me, I had to stay in 5th or 6th at Donnie to be below that. Used 3rd once on the Pit straight and was black flagged at 99.5. That is with Geary's 6" exhaust.

However the small silencer that Jim fitted a couple of years ago in place of the CAT pipe has burnt out the filling so really needs replacing.
