Copied from general section post:

Was a good night, with some nice driving and good manners all round. Would def be keen to attend a CE night again.

A westfield took a heavy hit against the wall, glad the guy was ok, spoke to him on the way out and he didnt think there was too much damage  Seemed to take a heavy hit tho - would be surprised if it got away that lightly???

Anyone know who was taking the pics at the bottom of duffus?

Heading off to review the incar footage - definately a few lessons to be learned after tonight :D

Just had an email from the Megablade driver. He sounds a bit beaten up, but at least walking around etc.

He doesn't sound too cheery about the damage to his car either, but wants to know if anyone has any footage of the incident! I said I'd ask around for him...

Aside from that everyone seems quite pleased with the night and is looking forward to the next one :D

I also need to go through my footage, if I find any good stuff I'll put it on my website.

Another good night, thanks Brunty. ( I hope the Smart cars didn't get in the way too much!)

I missed the megablade incident, I was filming from the paddock just minutes before. I heard the smash and it sounded really bad, I was glad to see the car and driver in better shape than I expected considering how hard he hit the wall! Does anyone know what caused it?

I have plenty of video footage of cars along the straight which I'm happy to share.

If anyone has any in car footage showing the two Black Smart cars it would be very much appreciated if I could get a copy :D Thanks

The black flag right when it happened was for the Westfield. AFAIK One of the marshalls had heard his engine rattling and radioed in. His engine seized and locked his rear wheels causing him to lose control of the car and head into the pit wall.

Glad he was ok, I thought the Knockhill staff handled it very well.
