A car used on track, like mine is probably far better looked after than Joe Bloggs Elise that's used for going to work. Oil is changed regularly along with everything else.
What's the point buying an Elise/Exige if you're not going to use it for what it's designed for...the track!
AU03 is my Elise but whoever dealt with you is speaking out their arse.
According to Graeme at MMC and Iain (the previous owner) the car has never had HGF. Of course, I would be pissed if it had, only because I did ask and that means I was lied to. Even if it has, that would not bother me as at least the problem had been sorted. I've never had any problems with the car. I had an issue with the disks but nothing major.

That's the point. They're built to be 'thrashed' and suffer when they don't get the maintenance that entails... Anyway, moving on.
I don't know of the car myself. Hope somebody can help with it.

Mica Silver mate.
My car was at MMC in August, I bought it in late Sep.
I just thought the new guy got the colours wrong.

G, just in case you missed it (last post on p1 of the thread) the stuff about HGF was a wind up. Hilarious, if you ask me....

Could be the guy who lives just down the bottom of the hill outside Lanark. If so I don't think I've ever seen the car move from their. IIRC someone told me that he owns a lapdancing club in Glasgow.

Okay, maybe the HGF gag wasn't the way to endear myself!

Gareth, I apologise sincerely, I posted the correction sharpish so I hadn't expected you to take offence. Yeah, and I got the colour mixed up too...
The bloke that owns it works in Edinburgh, so it might not be the same guy.

I recognise 'T2EGO'. Were you at knockhill end of April /start of May time? My mate was running in his Supercharged Honda Civic Type R (C7VC R) I think maybe I saw the car.
