I thought I should let the insurance know about my mods!!!

Post by Victor Meldrew » Sat May 30, 2009 7:31 pm

I gave the insurance a call to check that they had a list of my mods and to tell them about the throttle bodies and the emerald. I was expecting to have to pay an additional premium for the throttle mods but I was pleasntly surprised that there was no additional charge. The car was already listed as modified when I fitted the cam.

This generated a chat with the broker and basically I can now what I like short of an engine swap.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

I did the same with Richard Egger for N3 and this years has actually gone down to £290, even though I still have eleven points.

ps Richard Egger will only cover our type of cars and they have to be tracked or competed in as well, hence four free track days cover.
