Another Borders Run 31/05/06 : Spuercars content

Post by Modena Scotland » Tue Jun 02, 2009 12:05 pm

Great cars, scenery, pace, food and mostly the company.

The photos below are by Paul in the white QV.

Is that the CS that laps KH? - beautiful car!

Looks like a great convoy to be part off.

Mega jealous faction :)

The first location is the Scotts' view overlooking the Eildon hill. The best local view IMO.

The second one is the St. Mary's Loch.

The CS belongs to Mads and yes, its the drifting CS at KH. A fantastic car on and off track.

It was a great day as we exchanged our cars for different sections of the route.

Tut, you should join us the next time. You will LOVE it.

To echo what Mass said - bloody brilliant day - made all the better by the company, the weather, and having a swingers session with our cars - it literally was pretty much keys in the pot, and choose a set :damnfunny

Wont forget piloting the Sv in a hurry, or thrashing the 360CS up to Lauder, with the 430 in my tow

The first time I think in years, i've had the most sane car in a convoy...........WTF :damnfunny

Some of the other road users would have had all 5 going past at full chat  :thumbsup :thumbsup (lucky b*stards!) What a noise that must have been :cheers

Mass - i do have some pics, but like your disks they are still in the Fezza - nuts! Sorry! Will get them tonight

The 430 is a better road car and just as fast. On track, no comparison. The CS wins. I know which I want.

He has a Duractec R400 and like me blew the engine (conrod through the block).

Paul, I think the CS will be a collector's car. The number produced are limited. It is a totally different car to drive than a standard 360. Looks is the only thing they have in common.

Mads also has a Ferrari F40.

Would loved to have joined you Mass but did not know about it, and N3 is not actually a Supercar though would have no problem keeping up. However Mads and I were going to arrange a road run together, so will keep my eyes open for the next one.

Quite happy to sit at the back and hear the noise, as long as I am not held up of course.
