PS - Hows the RX8 ? - Missing the Elise?
I love the Boxster, but i miss the Elise....... quite fancy another one - must be a faster one.
Acid test tomorrow night David, at the Dreadnought Track Night. Missing the lack of roof off motoring at the moment, but enjoying the RX8 for road driving so far. If it's fun on track tomorrow, it's a 'pass'.. (not too bothered about it being quicker or slower per lap... as long as it can make me smile).
Sorry.. Back on topic

I hope you haven't got standard pads in cos the brakes are not up to track use.

Nice watch JJ. If the timing had been different I would have been very interested in buying it for myself. Out of curiosity, how did you end up buying it from a jeweller in Norwich ? Same place I bought my Panerai from.
Good luck with the sale

I bought it used / second hand. I think they are a pretty big outfit from doing some reading on the net.
Its a neat watch and really good quality - there isnt much to draw between the Seamaster and the Submariner which has ended up on my wrist (and is the only reason I am selling the Seamaster, as I have only had the Omega a week!).

I'd say the seamaster has a better quality strap.

I had a hunt about TZ and read various reviews of the straps - Seamaster has good reviews on the bracelet finish and many reviews of the Sub mention the new style clasp as being not as quality a finish as the old ones. The Sub bracelet links are a much much nicer design though.
I love them both but they are so similar it makes sense to sell the Omega.

Agreed, the Submariner bracelet isn't quite up to Omega or even Tag standards. They also tend to sag a bit through age, and I believe a replacement is in the region of £600
I tried on a Deep Sea recently which is fitted with the new Rolex bracelet and it's a big improvement, feels a lot sturdier. Not sure if this has made it onto the Sub yet.
Submariner v Seamaster ? Not a difficult decision and I think you made the right call
Although if I were you I'd buy a watch winder and keep them both......

I think you mean the 'Oysterlock' Neil - not available on the sub yet, but is on the higher end models like GMT2C and Daytona.

You do not need to own an Elise or be Scottish to join Scottish_Elises.
BUT YOU DO NEED A FCUKING EXPENSIVE WATCH.
