I'll still be running a standard K for FF...no time to swop the engine out with my spare engine, might not even have time to MOT it so I've bought a trailer. Might still trailer it even if I do manage to get an MOT (don't trust the engine making it there and back).

I couldnt do that trip with the car on a trailer.

Best bit about having the Elise is using it in France and roof off adventures trying to find the next track

The car will be off the trailer once in France (if I can get an MOT) and will get driven to the tracks. I just don't fancy paying to get it back home if it breaks and it also means I can take a spare set of wheels and tyres :thumbsup

Asked Sinclaires?

Assuming as they're selling a kit, they won't give a monkeys whether you get the engine from them or not. As I've read so far, it's ripped out of the Fiesta ST, yes (supposedly the Mondeo one is a lower state of tune?)
