just washed the yota exige in readiness to put back in the garage for the next 4 weeks while i'm back in egypt and its died!!!!, not turning over, just clicking. Hoping it is just water somewhere, but a bit worried, anyone has any ideas? common fault?

I thought that as well, had my battery charger on it for a few hours, no improvement.....

Time to dig out the hairdryer and chase the electrics round the boot, it is too much of a coincidence if the car was running before you washed it aint running after..

Not sure what the group opinion is on WD40 on the electrical connectors.. been lucky never to have suffered from that type of breakdown...
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Could have had only just enough charge to start it once...

Have a look for electrons escaping at the starter solenoid connection. If that gets wet, not enough juice gets thru to engage the starter. Bit of water dispersant sprayed into there can help...

(totally non-exige-specific advice above, but not an unusual failure)
