More 2010 Exige Pics

Post by dezzy » Tue Jun 23, 2009 3:01 pm

Sorry they're not very good quality, but I only had my phone with me and it's not the best camera. Grabbed a few more snaps of the 2010 spec Exige in the showroom at Murray's when I was in collecting my car today. The camera on my phone didn't deal too well with the light in the showroom, but thought I'd take some more pics now that the splitter is on the car and a few more close ups of the spoiler for those who were not too sure about it.

I wasn't too sure about the spoiler in the previous pics posted up recently, but it's starting to grow on me now that I've seen it in the flesh. If you have any doubts, I recommend going to look at it in the flesh :thumbsup I love the new front-end though! 8)

Mr.Robertson, if you're reading . . . do me a deal on this new spec of Exige and I'll take one!! :D

I assume that is a traction contol knob on the steering column?

So, this is the 2010 exige? Is it available now? :?

Tis looking too heavy and deep for me at the front now.

Suspect there is going to be a division between S1 Exige lovers and S2. I still think the original was the best looking of the whole range.

The spoiler looks like something out of the fast and the furious.

On the shot of the interior, whats that thing thats hanging off the bottom of the dash? Is that a cup holder of some kind? :?

It's the S&M Bollock hammock (yes, it's a cup holder) Has been an option for a couple of years. Looks ridiculous, although at least they took the time to make it in alloy, instead of nicking something out of a hatchback....

Have to say, I prefer the spoiler from a functionality POV - the mid-mounted one was always hilariously wobbly when you followed someone at speed. Just imagining what sort of downfarce that produced. Seeing as they can't make it from some super-stiff composite, suspending it at the ends is by far the better engineering solution (as long as it doesn't now bend in the middle)
