Yeah I knew she was there, I just thought she would be really busy so didn't bother going to ask for instruction laps, maybe bext time.

Had a great time yesterday, even with the weather conditions. Got out loads and my favourite point was when a dry line had developed and I felt confident enough to start using the kerbs a bit more. Always takes me a wee while to get going again at KH as I don't do it that often, but was really happy with my driving for most of the day.

It was very squirmy under braking at the start and end of the day and particularly greasy going into duffus I think. Although, I'm not using that as my excuse for the spin! :D I just went in too fast. Sorry Kat! Adam, it was definitely not that Kat was a jinx . . . I just ran out of talent!  Really thought I'd caught it then it just snapped the other way and went into the grass and then gravel. Finished up about half a car length before the tyre wall . . . phew! Thankfully no damage - just an undertray full of gravel. I tried to stay off line the rest of the way round so it wasn't all over the track.

My only complaint of the day was with whoever was driving Mads' caterham early on. It wasn't Mads himself I realised after coming back into the pits. They were trying to go up my right side on the approach to clarks and were all over the place. Didn't give me a chance to let them by, which is what I was about to do on exiting the corner. I put a complaint in, so hopefully someone had a word with them.

Fantastic day and thanks to John as usual for the great organisation :thumbsup I look forward to KH opening the pits again though as I think it did reduce the socialising and banter we'd usually have with other SE'rs when having a wee break.

Another :thumbsup for yesterday, really enjoyed it even though the weather conditions werent the best. Was my first time on track in the rain and was still fun, made it interesting and had a couple moments where the back end went. Was well organised. Only complaint i had for the day was for one of the subarus not moving over to let me past and I just managed to edge past him on the main straight and he never lifted off at all even though i was slightly faster through the corners than him.

Was good to talk to a few people as well.

I echo all above: another great day even though the weather was challenging! I got some great footage from a bumper mounted camera on the 944 but the audio is screwed up :(

Thanks to Mass for the ride in the SLR, much appreciated,it's a fantastic little thing :thumbsup

I think the pax in my boss's GT2 just pipped it though as the highlight of the day, that thing is truly immense!

Must admit it didn't look at all promising even when we headed out in the warm-up groups @ 0945ish. The visibility was so poor with rolling patches of fog - I remember on the 2nd/3rd lap of Grp 3's warm-up we could barely see Duffus whilst passing under the bridge  So it was a great relief to finally get out on track after the delay :) Lot's of delicate, slippy fun.

Thanks for organising, John.

As above, what a great day it was. Took my mate Alan along and met with Mr Momo, Mike711 and eventually Tut  at the Shell station in Aberdeen for the drive down. Shame Will ing never made it but now we know why! Big thanks to Tut and Kevin (Deany1986) for the pax laps. :thumbsup Had some good fun with the Bruce Taxi's Evo in Tuts car. Was a bit wet when i went out with Kevin but was still well impressed with the pace and grip in the wet. Was also good to meet everyone else i got the chance to have a chat with. Won't need to blag any pax laps at the next event as i will be getting my Exige on track.

P.S Where were all the Scoobies? Looked more like a Scottish Elises event. Counted 11 Exiges in the car park and loads of Elises. Good to see!

Mark, glad you liked the SLR. Can't compete with your boss's car :blackeye

Peter. it was good to meet you.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Mark, is Davey Jones your boss?

Was good to see him again, he used to do all the SIDC days a few years ago, I think that he had just got rid of his 1,000hp GT-R when I first met him and I think he also had a fire breathing Evo before he got the GT2. I was talking to him on Saturday and said that I was surprised that he still had the same car, but he said that he would never sell it. JohnS knows his car collection better than me.

His number plate 911 GT must be worth a fortune.

Yeah he is Tut,

I bought my PZ from him and was lucky enough to get a look in the garage when i went to collect it, the Metallic Purple Diablo SV is quite a sight ;)

Think his number plate is worth more than my car ;)

Likewise Mass. Sorry i never got back to have a chat, but i'd already told my mate (who was taking be back up the road) that we would leave but kept chatting to more and more people and ended up out for more pax laps so thought i'd better not keep him waiting any longer. Will hopefully see you at the next event.

That wasn't KH rain Scotty, just a bit of Scotch mist.
