Very impressive.

Is the photography your living or do you have a dayjob?

Great pics, I cheated when you posted your knockhill pictures and tracked down your website. Love the A10 refueling pics :thumbsup

Here's an example of the quality shots i have from flying, would love some professional feedback..

Stunning photos. I had a play with a new lens at Waddington on Saturday (Worst. Airshow. Ever.) and comparing our results I can only dream of getting shots of the tops of planes with interesting backgrounds instead of fighting the madding crowds to get washed-out shots of silhouettes against boring skies...

Very jealous of your job and your camera work! :) :thumbsup

Evening guys!

Thanks so much for the additional comments.....Didn't realise this thread had crept back up the forum, hence my tardy response!

Graeme, What's the new lens? I did hear Waddo was looking rather poor - Sorry to hear it was....You got any other shows lined up? just about to post another set (low level stuff).

Peter, Your photo made me laugh, excellent! - Can't work out for the life of me what you are in though? You go flying often?

And Pete, I do have a day job at EGPH!! Photography has just got me into soem fortunate positions.

Thanks again and thanks for all the funny and amusing comments - Hope you all dusted off TOP GUN!

:thumbsup

Andy

Hi Andy, it's an R22, I try to fly at least once a month purely for a hobby (mainly out of EGPT and EGPJ  ).

Love that low level stuff too! Awesome.

New lens is a Canon 100-400 L IS. Not the sharpest or the brightest but very flexible.
Not got any other shows in the diary. Would love to come up for Leuchars but I'm exiled now (living in Sheffield), so will have to see nearer the time if I'm working.

Don't want to soil this thread with my holiday snaps, so I'll post some pics in another thread: http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... =9&t=21666
