Cop tastic _ ABZ content

Post by andysc » Tue Jul 14, 2009 9:05 am

To all ABZ'ers,
Cops are out in force (only during business hours it seems) in the A90 Stonehaven area (mainly Southward).
I was stopped for not having a tax disc visable......then they noticed the missing number plate. No fine, just a ticket to get it fixed.
They must have some fancy identity gear to notice the tax disc not visable?!

cheers

Yes, It was 3 cop bikes doing the "looking & reporting" and the volvo doing the stopping. You should have heard the info they can get so quickly! I was listening
while in the volvo. Interesting but also scary how much big bro can snoop on you if they feel like it.

It is great kit they have, remember watching some prog on the box that showed the road traffic cops stating they simply do not have the time to stop everyone. they were parked up and the camer on the roof was scanning number plates and going ping everytime somthing flashed up. no tax, no insurance, warrant for the driver etc. technology finally helping get rid of paperwork.

Shouldn't waste time on stopping them - should just launch the missile and be done with it ;-)

Cheers,

I actually thought people had stopped flashing to warn but on way to work last week was pleasantly surprised when a reliance prison van flashed!

Nice one!

They have been out in force on A90 tho. nearly every day.
