Not doing Fintray as it's the week before Donnington. Being a girl I don't want to take the chance.

I might be at Boyndie but its the week after Dijon and I am supposed to be chillin by the pool in Spain but I havn't booked any flights as yet.

We had the meeting for this one last night.

Most people we expect will be camping at Kames from the Friday, camping being free of course. On Saturday, we have a marquee going up with a band and Lesley is booking a mobile bar for the night. She's also looking into hiring the same caterers as Doune used for their bbq to provide food for the night (and possibly both days as well..... ).

Given it';s the first British Championship and 25 years of Kames, the awards will be a bit nicer this time as well.

Hi guys.

I would normally be competing but I've decided to offer my services as a marshall for this big one (no one in A8 will miss me  ) May or may not have a new car by then (see my thread on the newb section).
See you there.

I've also said to Leslie that I would marshall at this event too - what with it being a sprint which I don't currently do :D

Will be camping, perhaps from Friday night . . . going home misses out on so much banter, which is as much a part of the weekend as the driving ;-)

Had a great run over Glenshee on Friday with a R1 trying to keep up. By the time I got to Kames I had be raining and was blowing a gail. Not the best weather for camping, got the tent up and just got inside and played my PSP and watched a movie.

After a sti7e night’s sleep, I walked the course with Fergus (thanks for that). Saturday was anti clockwise. Track was wet but the rain had stopped and it was drying nicely. First practice run I went off after pushing too hard into the hairpin, at least I found out I had to brake before you go over the bump.

Second practice run was better and I was confident of taking about another second off my time.

First run went well, felt quick but I knew I could go faster, it was a good banker but I was .1 off of Graeme, so sitting in second.

Second run the rain started just before we went out so that was that. I was 2 seconds slower.

Saturday night was really good EACC had put on a band and a BBQ. Got a much better sleep Saturday night :o)

Sunday was bright a windy.

Much preferred the track this way and I was getting quicker with each run. I was lucky enough to be behind Graeme and could see his times. Practice went well and I knew I would be pushing of the record. I got another good run in, but like my circuit racing my times are fairly consistent but I am making a different mistake each lap. Managed to get to .5 off the record in my first timed run (missed a gear). I was lucky to be able to watch Graeme and on his second run he never beat my time so I knew I had won the class, just had the record to chase. Got in a good run felt faster but I was .15 off the record.

Just goes to show how close things can be .1 better on Saturday and Sunday and I would have had 2 class wins and a record.

Great weekend, really good banter in the pits. Thanks to Shug, Ali (360 detail) Woody. Erik Kiltie, Iain F, Fergus and Nic for the support.

Off to think about Golspie.
