I am definently keeping the car until at least until autumn next year when i will either decide to change it or s/c it, am thinking along the lines of the s/c at the moment. hopefully lotus will have brought out an aftermarket kit by then. i reckon if i mod mine now it will make the decision easier in 12 months time. :D
Now you've really asked for a Mac bollocking.
I can hear it now...what you wanting a S/C for when you haven't got the current potential out of it!

Ah, but G, he's doing it the right way... I'm sure he'll have a proper handle on it by next autumn - just in time to use some more power... 8)

You've been known to want to change it before you've got the bloody thing home!

Ed,

If your seriously thinking about turning into a track toy then speak to the folk at lotus motorsport - PM for contact details if you wish.

S/C exige in Ed's hands would be awesome - my wee K powered elise whipping the ass of a S/C toyota exige :D

Mac, deary - I'd actually love to see the two of you over the Dukes Pass... Ed surprised me with the pace and control he had on road - I couldn't make any ground on him without pushing more than I'd be comfortable doing....

I have the feeling his Lordship may start surprising folks sooner than you think...

I can't recall being on the same piece of track as Ed in the past.

I just like taking the rise out of him once in a while.

Make's me nostalgic for the good old days when we used to do something similar on SE1.

Sorry to tell you Ed but I know how much the Lotus kit costs as there is a co already doing them but quietly as Lotus want it that way! The price is just silly you would not even entertain the possability if you knew the price! There will be plenty of good well tested kits by then though 8)
