
I would guess Advan Neovas, if you can still get them, would not be that bad - I mean it is only a VHPD and the car is light; it's not a 1,000 kg 300BHP S/C tyre eating monster ... of course if you consistently break traction with them, they're going to get red hot and melt, but if you drive mostly within the limits of available traction, they'll be fine - just my 2p -
OTOH I'm sure the likes of Andy "Sideways" Gordon and Neil "High Side" McKean would see off a set of those in 15 minutes flat
