It takes a few days gents - they thought I'd be okay from this Sat/Sun so dont leave it to the last minute

I just did mine via email at the end of last week. Took me ages to find my customer number so just used the serial number on the white box. Got a confirmation email back in a couple of days. Good to go!

I phoned and spoke to a couple of ladies who both spoke English. I am still not 100% convinced that the details have been updated, but will find out at the first toll - let's hope it's a quiet one.

I am sure that one of our French friends mentioned that you can update it at any of the offices at the toll areas, so hopefully will only ever be an issue on first use, if at all.

no. i still need to fit new discs, new pads, new hoses, replace brake fluid, change my oil and filter, fit new dampers, replace 4 ball joints, machine my steering arms then get the thing an MOT.

Once i've done all that, we can go.

Pads and fluid done today along with oil, filter, fuel filter, brake switch.

Still waiting on dampers, then geo and found out tonight that a wheel bearing is gone on the back.

Oh and to top it of my realease bearing is gone on my clutch

BTW, how do you know all your ball joints are gone?

Oh, and looks like there will be no "Flip-Flop" tennis this year

ah yes, wheel bearing, i can add that to my list. There was nothing wrong with my ball joints until i fcuk them, trying to get my upright off

You can check them with a big pry bar to see if there is any play in them. Jam big pry bar between wishbone and upright, and try to flex them apart, see if it moves.

Managed to go through it in French, mainly, so no doubt I'll have bought some shares rather than sorted my device
