Not sure but i think the Scud is Dave Jone's - think he just got it so give it time and I'm sure it'll be as fast as his GT2 ;)

Looks like a great day yesterday, gutted i missed it :(

It is Dave's but I did not realise until after he had left as I was expecting him in his GT2.

As a result I never got a ride in it.

Iain, good to see the new D90 is serving you well, some great shots, esp given it was your first time at panning and being up at Knockhill!

As Jason said you will find 1/125 and slower, whilst initially trickier, is worth it when you get the results, but it takes a good few times freezing your butt off at Knockers to get it right!

One of my favs...

I've uploaded all my shots now, there's 100+ on my flickr account http://www.flickr.com/photos/4hero/sets ... 855358209/. View the set as a slideshow if you like http://www.flickr.com/photos/4hero/sets ... 8209/show/. I've also added them to the Scottish Elises pool.

Cheers,

Neil.

Some lovely panned shots Neil :thumbsup I need more practice

Certainly are :thumbsup

That's a good end of the track to be with a mixture of head on shots and lovely panned ones. What size lens were you using for the head on shots John?

As Jason and Dave say, I just need more practice

Couple more from the day

Thanks :)

For the ones coming up the pit straight, I was using a 70-200, for everything else it was my 100-400 zoom.

The calendar pics are generally "landscape" to fit the size of the calendar, however in this day and age, I'm sure someone out there could make that in to a landscape pic of sorts.

Karen, was it your Elise that I passed on my way home from Knockhill last Saturday? Remember spotting a bright green Elise heading northbound somewhere near the bridge :wavey
