Heading to Egypt on Wednesday ;)

G/f picked up a speedo mask and snokel set from tesco. Probably not the last word in performance but at £15 it looks good enough to do the job for a couple of hours floating around and cheap enough to leave behind.

Don't forget to get some flippers - they make all the difference :thumbsup

Nope heading to hurgada, it was a last minute type decision and at a very cheap price :)

Checked the hotel out on teipadvisor and it gets mostly positive reviews so should be fine

Agreed - but your hotel will usually have fins (us experienced types don't call them flippers :) )

For masks, don't understand the size question - head size? - best if you can to try them on - see Splashsport shops:

I wouldn't worry about getting them in the UK, you will be able to get decent stuff in egypt. make sure you buy silcone face mask, it make a big difference, they will probably try and charge you 250 EGP for it, don't pay more than 150 EGP.

Good time to come over, it's the hottest summer since i started working here 4 years ago. If you fancy a day out get a taxi to elGhuna which is about 20 Km north of Hurghada, and is a port for the rich and famous, multimillion pound yachts in the marina and such.

If you see a black smoke cloud to the north, that's me..................

Nice one mate. As Jon say £15 tesco unless you are going abroad every few weeks. Will do the trick see if they have fins too they are a must but a pain to take in the case. If your hotel do them all the better. Have a nice holiday mate :thumbsup

Stuart

ps Jon have a nice one too :thumbsup
