I had a wee bugger buzzing round the footpaths round my house every night a couple of years ago. I tried too tell him how stupid it was and that he was going to hurt himself or someone else. As expected I was told to "F off ya fanny"

Sick I know, but It was my best "I told you so" moment ever, when about 3 months later when the same lad was admitted to our emergency operating theatre. We spent about 6 hours putting his face back together

Id call the police too tbh, think of the repercussions it could have? and it could be your granda that gets it if you are out

Cant you put up a gate to the land to stop this in future?

Hope you get it sorted asap, i hate people who use indimidation to get what they what regardless of how it affects others around them.

Not good Clark, know how you feel, not worried about yourself but what they could do to your family.

My first reaction is like Scotty's, pay them a visit and put them into hospital for a few months, but you do not know where that will lead, and you can not get away with it nowadays. Take retribution, and though I am sorry to say it, the cops will be on the side of the chavs and not the victims. Put me straight Chris and Campbell, but that is the way most of us feel.

So report it to the police and see if you get any follow up action from them. Don't take it on yourself.

well 1stly, i will call it in tomorrow now that i have chilled out,

secondly, thats quite a story, did you feel somewhat pissed off that you were going to have to devote your time to someone who should have been stopped in the 1st place, but at the same time feel slightly satisfied that he had learnt the hard way?

also did you ever tell him it was you some months previous?

as for putting a gate up, its not really possible, as there is regular access required, im in and out alot, and my uncle basis his business from our farm, however we do have one to stop people getting into the farm yard, which had it not been up i would suspect the baa**rds would have been hooning round my feilds!! (im the only one alowed to do that!)

Sorry to hear that.

Be carefull about taking things into your own hands. Just last year I got myself into a lot of bother and now have a Criminal Record. Doesn't matter who's right or wrong, you will always get f*cked. My experience anyway.

I used to believe that if someone damages your property or tries to hit you it would justify a re action. Not any more ! If i see trouble i now have to hide in a corner and avoid eye contact.

There are some good coppers out there, its just not easy to find them! i know quite a few, unfortunatly none of them cover my area!! it would be helpfull if i knew someone in the PF's office tho......!

( i was making a general statement, there was one time i was pulled over for my reg plate and a fight kicked off infront of the police car when i was in the back, i asked the police if they were going to do anything, i was told to stop being cheeky, and got a £30 fine for the plate, fight wasnt stopped by the police....)

Thats what camera phones are for.
I know the local Killie police run away from fights it was laughable when you saw them on a fri/sat night watching the fights then arresting the guy who got beat up.
