A bit about Crail....

The track isn’t perfect... and not a purpose laid racing circuit, so don’t expect it to be as smooth as Knockhill.
The track has always been swept to clear loose stones on previous visits, and the potholes are generally avoided on track by slight changes in layout.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch :)

Interesting. Never done Crail before.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I did Crail a few years ago now with BigD and Rog, think it may of been Track Scotland's first track day??

Good little track, it was however a little rough but nothing to serious, but that was a while back :thumbsup

Could always take the X5 :damnfunny

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

Loved Crail (from a few years back). My last Elise got it's first orange cone marks there and they used to have some hy bails to create a chicane half way down one of the straights (since copied by Top Gear :D ).

Loads of run off and fun for learning sideways limits of your car.

There are now, well there was tyres around the edge of the track as seen in my pics, if your using all the track there is no run off

Once ended up on top of them in my 306 XSI playing on the drift track while my mates found out how fast they were in a straight line :tired :damnfunny

Jeez, quick retraction from me!!

Used to be very open minus the hay bails and cones. That was part of the fun, shame!

I still think there is enough, or more, room on track compared to KH for example.

I lost the 911 flat out in 3rd on a corner (fast left hander just after Mikes's pic above ) and didnt come off the track.... that wasnt due to skill

I've booked it.

Might as well give it a shot, closer to home and reasonable price.
