you can cut a plate to what ever size you want, as long as there are 10mm boarder round the letters.
I did want SC07TYC but not at that price.

Of course, the chepest way to get a personalised plate is to change your name by deed poll to whatever reg your car has...
... from now on I'll be known as SK07 AXR.
I'll get my coat.

Talking about plates, are the ones that stick on the front clam legal? Lost mine on track on FF and was questioned 2 and half times about it by the police before i made it home, so would rather have one on to save the grief TBH.
Anyone got any pics

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

I carelessly lost my front plate at Knockhill on the LOT day

I've since got a new one and attached it with 3 strips of Velcro for maximum 'stick' and am quite surprised at how well it worked. Now i can just take it off at future trackdays. Also saves me slicing my fingers open every time i'm cleaning the bit behind the plate. Lost count of now many times i've done that.

Good advice so far. I got a front plate from fancyplates.com and it was nicely finished off and exactly to my (legal) spec. I left the rear plate full width and I think it looks OK. I nearly bought my number from one of the dealers and they had loaded another £40 on to the cost! Go DVLA. I used one long strip of adhesive velcro (one inch wide) and I fixed the front plate so the base was about half an inch below the level of the car in the hope I get an early warning for low kerbs etc.
Cheers.
