Caterham Crash - Aberdeen
Caterham Crash - Aberdeen
Just picked up the Evening Express in Asda with a picture on the front of a smashed Seven with driver still inside.
Link to the article on the web here. Bit more detailed in the paper - appears the guy is ok after being cut free. Anybody who frequents here??
Hope he's ok!

I don't think it's a Caterham - Scuttle panel is the wrong shape / it has huge wheels fitted...Maybe a Westie, or something of that ilk...
Anderson Drive can be crazy at the best of times - It's like a race from the Auchmill roundabout to Bridge of Dee...Nobody wants to lose road position, so you tend to see some fairly aggressive driving...
Re: Caterham Crash - Aberdeen

I concur. Windscreen/bulkhead angle looks like maybe a Sylva Striker. Glad to read no serious injuries.Fluoxetine wrote:I don't think it's a Caterham - Scuttle panel is the wrong shape / it has huge wheels fitted...Maybe a Westie, or something of that ilk...

Would be quite interesting to see how one copes in a road accident. I'd have thought they would stay together pretty well. Hitting a 4x4 or truck would be

Got hit by a train once on a level crossing in N1.
Train went straight over the top and barely left a mark.

ps found some fantastic mushrooms/funghi on the lawn today when Verian was mowing it. Look like penny buns/cepes, which are the king of the funghi world, taste great, but have a slightly weird feeling.

That looks like a fantastic cep. We get a few around here - always under beech trees but they're pretty uncommon and don't appear every year. Texture is firm and really nutty taste. Sliced and fried...
