Superb day, first time out and I can't wait for the next one.
Massive thanks to Mass, Tut and Andy g for the pax's and for helping me sort out lines and technique which was a massive help, I was going a good deal faster by the end. I didn't want to come back in.

I was surprised at how much the tyres wore, mine look like the have been set on fire

I got black flagged for a little venture onto the grass  It worked though, put me in check and i screwed the nut and felt better for it.

Again it was an awesome day and the quality of driving was outstanding :thumbsup

Seemed to be a lot of black flagging going on today, first time I have ever really seen them use that at KH, any idea what any of them were for?

Again, top day 8) :thumbsup

-Mark.
There was a red Fiesta that was fairly eratic on the bends and went off onto the gravel twice when I came up behind throwing stones right across the front of the car as he kept the power on and drove back on track. I've always avoided Crail for the stones; PIA to come back from KH with a dozen or new chips :? Pretty sure his cross-country antics were black flagged...bit too late though as he seemed all over the place with some 'interesting' lines.

Sorry about folks losing the last five minutes  I was real low on fuel and was pretty much finished for the day but John persuaded me to take a few more laps with a passenger, with the promise of a push if I ran out. Given it was his track day anyway, who was I to refuse? (Another great day again John, thanks for organising :thumbsup ). Unfortunately I just ran out a couple of laps before the end. I thought I was far enough off the track and on a safe area that they'd just run the final few laps as it was 12:55, but they red flagged it. Sorry. But true to his word John did end up pushing it!

Had a brilliant day - only did a half session, but enjoyed the time out on track. The last session was the best where I was behind Frank for a good few laps - I didn't want to come in from that, however my fuel was running low

Good to catch up with french Frolicers as well

A brilliant day to end my season - thanks John. :thumbsup

I unfortunately ran low on fuel (first time that's happened) and so I had to sit out most of the last hour  . I seemed to keep out of trouble and got some good laps. The light rain play havoc with the camera so not much video but I will post what I can soon.

Enjoyed chatting and meeting new faces.

:cheers

David,
You coped well with my extra weight!
You looked like you were having fun!

The driver of that yellow S1 seemed to have problems with his directions and kept facing the wrong way! He also got overtaken by one of those jap family saloons. Obviously he has been away from KH for too long!

Quote of the day goes to Mrs Crozier.
When she asked what I do for a living I said "I look like one!" She replied, "You're a monkey???"

Some of the best bits of the video were from our session together, and the car was fun with the extra weight - just a bit slow up the hill :? .

Why your last TD this year Dave?

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Apart from a few family commitments, the plan is to take the engine out and fit the Titan dry sump and roller barrels upgrade. I'm also going to replace the bearings, as a precaution really, as I've recorded a few surge problems on the ECU. It's the sort of thing I'd like to take my time over and get right for next year.

Will be be spectating though :D

Good day on track, bit busy at times but fun all the same!

Car was going well, but have to say that I wasnt on the ball the first few sessions, head just not right?!

Was really struggling with Duffus as I was hitting nearly hitting rev limiter in 3rd? Started taking it in 4th and felt much better, started getting into the swing of it and enjoyed it from there on.... Was faster in 4th and car more settled, helped me get into the session more.

Didnt really get much of a chance to get clear laps in, so times not so good, fastest was a 1.01.7

Had a short but enjoyable chase with Tut, with Kevin behind, good to push it as I didnt really get the chance to push myself with nothers other than this today.

As alway a really well organised day! Good driving alround.

Will get the videos on youtube shortly
