Less than 4k miles in 6 years. Why would anyone have an elise sitting in their garage and not want to drive it? Still, could be a good used buy.

complete and utter waste of a good car!

this guy's obviously a total muppet who's got more money than sense.

i wouldn't buy this cos it's not going ot have been serviced regularly (annually), it'll need new belts and probably new tyres as they'll still be on the original items which will have started to perish by now.

The can will look good but it's not been looked after, it may have been hidden away from the elements but it's not been enjoyed and it'll show in the performance IMHO.

this is just a shame!

EVERYTHING will be seized. If the twat thought he was going to keep his money by not using it, he's a bit thick... :(

I know people buy cars like classics and dont use them much. My old man has had lots of MGs from 1949 and the seventies, and they were like new cars. He bought a '49 TC with 35miles on the clock, and it was concours. But even he drove that a lot in the time he had it, in rain and all sorts.

My point in is, why treat a modern, reliable (mostly) mass produced car like this? Or is the guy generally just a bit mad? I thought it might have been explainable, but the line about it being "caught out once" in the rain like it was the end of the world is a bit anal....

Alternatively, it's a steal.

Got mine from a similar chap 2/3 years ago. under 5000 on the clock. Chap had it serviced at Lotus every year and only drove it about 30-40 miles every weekend.

Total waste for him, but mint deal for me!

Nothing gone wrong with it and looks the business. Albiet not as mint now, after following Scotty C on a couple of runs

The waste part was what I was getting at, I cant understand why you`d not want to drive one if you had it sitting there! :P
