Just looking at lastminute.com and they have a tour of Silverstone for 2 hours for £28. It's buy one ticket get one free just now........looks good......anyone been? I've been down with mrahead to two grand prix's but never been on the tour.

Camping at Whittlebury Pk for the 2008 GP was great fun, would be hoping to do something similar in a year or two if the event really does happen.

Won't be buying a ticket just yet though...

has it been anounced if this is on the existing GP track, or on the new 'arena' layout that the moto GP will be using?

They want the new layout to be used but are awaiting FIA approval I believe.

If its denied it will revert back to the old layout.

Massively. Never driven it, always wanted to - managed to drive in and park up in a service area a few years ago at the other side of the old hairpin uphill bit. Just looking at it, you could tell it'd be an awesome drive :(

Well there's another lucky reason I caved into Jedi Robini mind-tricks last spring then. Donnie was indeed an awesome drive! Wonder what it'll be like "when it's finished"...if it ever is??
