This has been debated quite a bit on other forums - Comparing a brand new Evora to a 6 - 7 year old sportscar etc in terms of purchase price...
You'll obviously get 'more for your money', if you're happy to take a 6 year old Gallardo, but you need to factor in some serious running costs...It was a £100k+ car when new, after all!
Buyers regularly throw £50k+ at a new Cayman S (with options), rather than buy a 5 year old 997 C4S...This is one of the main target markets for the Evora, IMHO...
Like most of the others who appreciate the Evora on this thread, I personally can't afford / justify a new one...But then, I've never ever bought a brand new car, other than a Caterham which arrived in a pile of boxes...
I'll be watching the secondhand prices closely in about 3 years time - If they happen to be around the low-to-mid-£30k mark, I'll be seriously interested...
