Also check with Mary at Richard Egger.
I am older than you, but not sure that counts anymore at 70, could go the other way, but with 11 points and a S/C S1 Honda conversion, I am only paying £310.

I got a better deal from Richard Egger than I did from CCI - worth giving both a call.

That was over £200 less than my renewal from elephant so I was fairly pleased to say the least!

Re: Who's paying what ?
Renewal from APlan was £395 inc. legal (10,000miles, mods etc, wife and I).
Phoned Chris Knott, and got the whole lot for £350
, including removal of the 'No third party on other vehicles' bit. Very helpful, and would def. recommend! Kim was the lady I spoke to.

That no driving other cars 3rd party is becoming a bloody nuisance. I always assumed I had it, but turns out that I do not with Richard Egger.
I lose five points off my licence next week, so will shop around on re-newel.

Re: Who's paying what ?
I chatted to Kim (from CK) about it and she said that it's something everyone seems to be adding onto policies for convertible cars and she wasn't sure why. I had that clause last year and it turned out to be a bit of a pain. There were prob. half a dozen occasions I couldn't drive someone else's car because of it.tut wrote:That no driving other cars 3rd party is becoming a bloody nuisance. I was £420 Fully Comp for the Exige with Aviva. I thought it would be much more than this for a group 20!

Another
to CCI from here.
Renewal Quote with Aviva came in at £400ish which seemed a bit steep so gave CCI a call after reading about them on here. They came back at £220 inc half a dozen track days. That will do nicely!!
