Found pcis of the "new" Elise from pistonheads forum. Just goes to show that whoever decides on the colours for the Lotus Press photo's should get a new pair of glasses as the silver makes the car look significantly nicer:

As a refresh it's a good effort although IMHO at this stage in it's life a remodel is required rather than a refresh.

Hmm not liking the new bonnet, looks funny without the indicators separate from the headlights and the scoops don’t look as prominent

The Elise always looked radically different from other 2 seater cars, which it still does but this looks like it's dulling down slightly.

It's probably because it has all these slight changes that just make it look 'wrong' to me though.

Looks just like a vx front with curvy front bumper bolded to an S2 rear. At least it is moving in the right direction

Yes, it's a facelift mate. That's what they tend to do

Whoever used the term S3 was talking out of the wrong hole. I think we decided that about 3 pages back...

the back seems well different - in that theres less space between the diffuser and the fibreglass...
bummer for some after market exhausts...

Come to think of it why do all vx drivers call it a "vx" and not a "Vauxhall vx".
