No I put it up to see the level of interest and if it went fine, but after about a dozen calls looking to trade other cars I decided I should complete what I have started (wheels, gearbox and paint)

Never heard of MAK wheels, what to they weigh? Would it not be better to head down the route of the more established wheel manufacturers and put on Volk te37's?

Scotty spotted the wheels beginning of Feb, they are slightly heavier than 240R wheels so may just be a second set and keep the originals mint, but I think they look fab.
I have had a look at what’s about but have decided to go for them so I have ordered them and would hope to have them up this week

Front 7Jx16 / PCD 4x100 / ET30* / 6.9kg

Rear 8Jx17 / PCD 4x100 / ET35* / 8.1kg

They come complete with MAK centre caps and a full set of wheel bolts (x16). I will get a set of lotus centre caps but the ones from the 240r wheels fit.
The ET dimensions are slightly different to that of the std fit wheels (std = F31, R38). This has been done on purpose to give a slightly wider track both front and rear (2mm wider overall at the front and 6mm wider overall at the rear).

Well it took longer than expected to get the wheels on the 2-11 everyone that looked at them was concerned about marking them or lifting the car. I went in the end to MMC and I have to say were very helpful, they also put new rubber on the back and they did it very very competitively. Craig the new chap in there was a pleasure to deal with :love :love :love
