I noticed that about the seats when I was in last week. Seems to be part of the weight saving exercise. Blue one is the same. Also, the blue is very nice, a bit different and as a run-out model worth the small extra above the "S" price.

Also, when I was in, the new shape 2010 Elise with the revised front and rear was delivered, looks very good in black. Hence the special editions like the club racer to get rid of the old shells. Saw the new 260 too, minus the front splitter that wasn't on the truck.

There is a full seat section and lumber pads also
If its anything like the Reverie Muslane C I've got in the N/A honda atm its more comfortable than a std S1 seat even though it has no padding

Especially compaired to the air con unit which is about 15kg. I'd rather have the radio and put windows down when it gets hot :D

I have absolutely no idea what class/category this car is intended for (I'm assuming it's intended for racing!), but some FIA categories now require enclosed cars to have aircon ....no categories require ICE :D

Yup - FIA require aircon in closed endurance racers now - the big Pug diseasels at Le Mans have it too. Safety issue about steaming up in the night.

True.....it really depends what you want i suppose.
I'd probably stick with an Exige S, perhaps a few bits for it and then pocket the change.
