The wife's Lupo has a gubbed engine and the MOT and Tax run out at the end of the month so need to get her a wee run around to replace it in the next two weeks

(Out of interest does anyone know where is the closest scrappy is in Dundee that will give me £150 for it?).

Budget is about £800 - £1000 (cheaper the better as I have to buy it ;))

Let me know if you know of anything going which is cheap to run and insure and reliable (mechanical knowledge is f-all).
