Sounds like a plan.. good excuse for a mid way meet up/mini run...

I wouldn't bother with the mini geo unless your car feels awful. Mine felt perfectly driveable when I changed mine and actually didn't need that much done that wouldn't already have needed doing anyway.

You'll more than likely just end up with more camber than you want, assuming you have a little already. It means you'll be running more on the inside of the tyres than you might after the geo but unless you're gonna do thousands of mile between fitting the supension and getting the geo done you'll be ok.

Problem with mine was the toe. I had toe out on all 4 corners which makes for some interesting (And downright odd) handling characteristics! Hence the cheapo Geo. Drive it and see.

Everything is tight isn't it? The rear suspention is essentially simple wishbones with little to clunk. Is it better or worse since the change?
Did you check the ball joints? The rears apparently take quite a kicking and the lowers wear out first. Jack up and try to rock the wheel up down and left right there should e no play at all. If there is some something is worn out.
Also get hold of the toe link bars and ensure you can still twist them by hand. They will be stiff but movable. Pax side is the worst due to location of Zorst.

Could be ball joints or toes links then getting sticky when cold. Does it go away after a thrash?
