get the hacksaw out
I can't do it, i know its easier but I just can't cut the body in half.

He will just have to take the body off to work on it, of course it will never break down. :leave

Alan
I did mine, do you want me to come over and do it for you?

I'm leaving it standard, it doesn't take that long to take the body off.

Think he is going to get it painted properly as well.

All characters appearing in this post are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
Any references to laptimes, speed or driving on the public highway are purely for dramatic effect.

She dropped an axle stand on the back of the car. What the hell was she doing with an axle stand in the first place !

I was trying to get my suitcase out the boot, cos you tried but couldn't be bothered putting any effort in earlier and I wanted to unpack from the hen weekend so had to do it myself. The axle stands were in the boot but way so prevented me from angling the case the right way so I could get it out but I wouldn't have had to take them out if you'd taken it out for me! So it's all your fault!! :blackeye

And, why on earth don't axle stands secure with that little bolt thing that keeps them secure when they're extended anyway?? Stupid design IMO. There.

Gourlay83 wrote:Engine out this weekend. Had help from Craig and Alan Dickie which was much appreciated :thumbsup

It was easier than expected as the the many "Lotus Specailists" that have worked on Colin's car only left 3 bolts holding the entire body on.

P.S This engine removal was sponsored by Brew Dog.
