There are all sorts of plans going on. I'm going to get the tunnel on sat morning early-ish with Ron. I know Ed is taking the pikee ferry (I haven't got the patience to sail for 1 hour in the wrong direction) :damnfunny
P.s. Can we go yet? :cheers
Glad to hear you're joining us Sanj :D :thumbsup .

As for being pikeys, yes we are  . And I also happen to know that you're not averse to a bargain every now and again  . The ferry cost £38 return. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the train somewhere north of £200 return?

Nice one Sanj, already looking forward to blasting my old car round the track.

I'm getting the chunnel out Friday night @ 9pm and return on Monday 12th July

Haha

I cant bear that sailing again - and you have flexibility with the chunnel, should you be delayed or early :thumbsup

at £38 you couldnt go wrong though, but I'm happy forking out a wee bit more knowing i've the fastest crossing, and the least waiting.

Now i just need to get Uncle Ron to agree to a rough booking time :cheers

Sanj - I'll post up the details in case you are interested :cheers

I will be using the tunnel on Sat morning.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Thinking of driving down on the Thursday night do a spot of work in the London office and then early evening chunnel. S has taken a week off on the 2nd and might fly down to meet up in San Sebastian.

We're crossing on the Chunnel early Sat morning (26th) return crossing sometime on Tue the 6th (probably midday ish).
Ultimate Pikey method of using Tesco points for the Chunnel crossing (every £2.50 points = £10 Chunnel voucher). Less than £38 points return Ed! :D

It is a bit of messing about.

You redeem Tesco points for travel vouchers (do this online at tesco.com).
Multiples of £2.50 but gets you 4x the amount in vouchers.

Vouchers arrive in the post - provisionally book Eurotunnel by phone then send off the vouchers to them registered post.

You then get confirmation of booking. :thumbsup
