Another belated big thank you to Craig and staff . Had booked car in to get 2new rear 48s fitted at 3.30 didnt arrive till nearer 4.30 and they still squeezed me in and managed to get them changed even though all the mechanics were busy and close to finishing their shifts . So cheers, and next time will arrive on time Craig! :D

Another thumbs up for Murrays.

It is great to pick up the car and not have a bill.

The car went in for its 28k service in May. This ran into four figures as it also included disks, pads and tyres.

It was also in need of some warranty work - aircon pipes, stack issues, gear linkage and exhaust shielding. Several parts were on back order so Craig got Lotus to extend the warranty period. The work was done this week, and from the short drive round the bypass it feels almost like new. The gear shift is night and day from what it was, the aircon is really cold and even the odometer read 7 miles when I picked it up.

Roll on TT this weekend and Frolic next week.

Cheers

Craig's just sent me some pics of the Shugmobile... Currently undergoing some work with them and he's actually taking the time to make it look pretty too - one thing I've never done in the 8 years I've owned it. If you've seen that car, you'll know exactly what a task that is!!!

Here's a wee 'before' shot - hoping to have the 'afters' in a couple of weeks!

Big thanks to Craig and Murrays for giving me a great price on 4 new yoko's and a service. Its geat to know there is an offical dealer / service dept in Scotland where you can confidantly drop your car off and know its in good safe hands.

Special thanks go to Graeme for sorting the missus out with a cup of tea as well :cheers

Is Craig recently replaced someone? As in within the last couple of years?

Having now had the car serviced for the first time by Murray's and having bought it from there I just want to add my thanks to Graeme and today Keith for the service provided. Graeme especially for answering countless e-mails and calls about 2-11 spec's, prices and availability. Keith and the guys in the workshop for turning the 2-11 round as quick as you did despite my late arrival. Would not hesitate to recommend them to any current or prospective Lotus owner. Good work, your reputation is well deserved :thumbsup

After a positive experience with my 18k service last year, I returned to MMC again recently to have the 27k service carried out. I’m happy to report that the same high standards of communication and service were evident once more. All tasks carried out as agreed, and was informed of items that would need replaced before the next service, with an estimate provided for MMC to carry out the work. Thanks to Keith and Fraser for their efforts on the day and once more to Del and Craig for setting up the SE discount :thumbsup

Actually meant to thank Craig after the AMP3 day, but it totally slipped my mind.

Shugmobile was driving better than ever and was a total godsend to turn up at KH and find it waiting for me! With all the running about Andy and I were doing that day, it's the only way I could possibly have got to drive it.

It's these little touches that are really making MMC stand out at the moment - the bits that just make the experience of dealing with them a joy rather than a chore. Much changed from the bad old days and long may it continue!

Same for me Shug, Craig actually asked me if he could come along with another mechanic to help us out for tuttowers, and Dan also offered his services as well, both of whom were used to great advantage.

Just the sort of thing that makes the S_E Forum what it is.

I have again used MMC to fix a few niggle's and servicing work. On the whole very happy at the service, but a special thanks to Craig. His customer service is second to none, and is one of the main reasons i continue to use MMC. I guess i could be classed as someone hard to please, but MMC's and Craigs recent performance has left no room for complaint.

After reading some recent posts on SELOC about horror story's with main Lotus dealers, its good to know that we have a dealer we can now trust locally. Of course the SE special discount rate helps to...long may it continue :thumbsup

Time to add my thanks to Craig and the staff at MMC once again.
I realised just before going off on 2 weeks holiday that my car was due an MOT just after I was back. Phoned Craig and dropped my car off the following day with a list on things to be done, including annual service and belt change. Was contacted a couple of times while I was away with updates and confirmation of work required and picked up the car when I got back. All work was completed , paperwork ready and car was parked up, gleaming and ready to go.
Excellent service and car sorted with no hassle.
Thanks once again for your efforts in providing a 1st class service for your customers. :thumbsup
