The slr went kind of ok apart from throttle being stuck into a corner, forcing me to park in the gravel.

The alternator must have packed up and I am stranded on a7 waiting for the AA right now...... Not been a very nice day.

New alternator ordered so the SLR should be back for the AMP3 day.

Need to look at the throttle body as I don't want the "full throttle into a corner moment" again.

Some videos . . . .

It was warm and the light northerly wind meant my Vmax was down but it didn't stop some fast laps and I shaved a few tenths of my PB. Only 25 cars so plenty of room and blue flags were being used. Mass was busy keeping his SLR full of oil and his new engine made him faster than ever. Shame about the stuck open throttle :D but it made an entertaining end to the evening and hopefully the car's none the worst for the 'off'.

Dave, it's interesting to see at 18.x seconds in the last vid, your car is excatly where I started to brake :damnfunny

I knew the car won't turn at that speed so decided to straight line it
