I thought it was supposed to be gentlemans attire for this event or am I wrong, I was looking out my tweed hat and all sorts.

If anyone wants to come along in gentleman's attire - please do Can't promise there will be a prize or anything, but you never know

As its my first amp3 Ive got a few questions if thats okay

1. Is the gentlemanly attire still a goer, havent seen any banter at all about this so wondering if anyones picked up on it.
2. Is there much going on before 3pm, was planning on heading up for 2ish for some banter and to get plenty of time to chill out prior getting on track or will there be stuff happening from earlier.
3. With regards to the afters bbq, do most people just head over in their jeans from the trackday or is it a smarter dress code, if its smarter is there somewhere to get changed and is it jeans/shirt?
4. is it just straight to the bbq after in convoy or is there a big gap till the bbq starts.
5. has somebody booked the weather

So, to fully answer these:

1. Feel free to come along in gentlemanly attire to remember Brian - the award will be for track etiquette, but you never know, there may be something for the best dressed...
2. if you get there at 3, you're far too late If you want to get there for 2, there will be plenty of folk around for a chinwag - earlier the better, really
3. Most people will just be in their trackday attire, although some change - if you want to change at the venue, there are a couple of places you can do that. No particular dress code, but jeans and a shirt would be good if you fancy taking it to Opal later on
4. There is some time before the BBQ officially starts, but you won't be hanging around outside if you come early - you might however, get a job to do

As for the second driver situation - yes, technically, but if you're coming along to drive someone elses car, we'd appreciate some sort of donation to the charity. Given the point of the day, that sound fair?

I'm thinking we might need to make this a bit earlier (aim to leave MMC about 1:30-1:45). The briefing starts at 2:30 and we need to fill in indemnity forms before that. Given that traffic can be a pain on Fridays, just thinking a few extra minutes might be wise. I should be at MMC around 1:00-1:15pm all being well (I'll be the one with the worried look on my face - 1st track day for a couple of years).

Just to reiterate, the trackday is full - please don't donate the track fees now unless you wish to go on a reserve list and don't mind giving the money - again, we can't refund anything as the money goes straight from Justgiving to the charity.

HELP My MIL light came on this evening and I dont have a clue whats causing it. Or what to do about it. Dont want to miss the trackday but dont want to hurt my car
Its on steady and the car seems to be running fine. Does anyone have a code reader that is going tomorow or can advise me if there are any common causes I can have a look at in the morning?
