If Chris Hoy was given his knighthood too quickly then I'd say that Mr Gordon has many years to come to receive the accolade. I'd like to propose someone Old Skool; and not just because he loves (lives) in one.

Sir David "Tut" of Duncan.

He is an alsolute lunatic behind the wheel, yet a gentleman in all but attire out of the cockpit;
He has received more points than any other from the DVLA - and points mean prizes
He has been throwing his home open to complete strangers over the last five plus years, despite the fact he has a family and a poor long-suffering wife.
He travels from Old Deer to track his car, to Knockhill and much further with metronmic consistency.
Will canabalise his car to help others get by

Whilst the majority of these can all be said of Andrew Thomas, I think in this the purported last year of Tut Towers the award should be given to old man Tut...

He seems to be at every track day Ive been at and the first thing he always asks is if you want to come for a pax lap. Cant thank him enough for his help in turning a Track Newbie into a Track Novice
