Mac strapped in the camera and took some footage from my car last night. We might even get to see it this year... still waiting on footage from when i had my Elise 1 year ago

Any way, car is up for sale now. If anyone wants a race winning Caterham PM me for details.

The understeer is removable though - would probably require the fitting of the ohlins or an uprated arb - but it is possible to remove most of the understeer from the S2 chassis.

good noodles/chat after, and then a few quiet pints to round off the evening.

Quality!! Cheers Brunty :thumbsup
Delighted my only off road excursion was with someone else driving! That was a hilarious moment! Can't believe how straight the car stayed...well done Tom....its lives to fight another day :D

Any reason why? (that you want to go public with)

Great night guys. First outing in my car since October last year, so I was a little nervous on how it would hold together.

I was only 3 laps into my second session when the turbo to chargecooler hose blew off. Resulted in a temporary stoppage on the exit from the hairpin. Sorry for the red flags! but I managed to limp it up the hill into the pits after a minute or two. Typical, the only thing I didn't touch on my car over the winter was that hose clip

My car was going great before that, was around 5-6 seconds faster than a June HM night last June. Those A048Rs are incredible and the wing helped traction out of the bends. I really need a full day to play around with the settings. Great to be back out at KH again!

Oddly enough your wing was the topic of conversation at the noodle bar afterwards - good to here that it's working to great effect.

Great to see everyone had a good time.

Donkey - there were no obscenities directed to you! And I've no idea what happened at the chicane, car didn't feel like it was going to turn right, being off balance or something, so decided to straight line it into the gravel. And there were only yellow flags!

The Mk 3 Escort was driven by my Father-in law, he really fancied taking it out, and it was his birthday, so I said ok. He was out a couple of trackdays ago in his Mondeo ST220. Gotta say that his little 1.3 was drawing some attention!

I'm going to be putting something together for the September 16th Morning session now. I'll be needing a lot of people coming to that one to let me go ahead with it, so please sign up on the website.

I'll get the details out for Monday.

Cheers,

Brunty
