It is indeed a picture supplied by the dealer (MMC) of the actual car. Did you recognise the background wall?

I will get some of my own pics up soon.

Great stuff Dell, and good to see you stuck with white.

I remember the old days when you had the only white Elise around and there was a bit of piss taking, but that looks the dogs goolies.

If you have watched Douglas Adams "Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy" which I did and was a hoot:-

"Vogons are one of the most unpleasant races in the galaxy. Not actually evil, but bad-tempered, bureaucratic, officious and callous. They wouldn't even lift a finger to save their own grandmothers from the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal without orders signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public inquiry, lost again, and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighters. The best way to get a drink out of a Vogon is to stick your finger down his throat, and the best way to irritate him is to feed his grandmother to the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal. On no account should you allow a Vogon to read poetry at you."

Not sure what the connection with the thread is, but Del will probably enlighten us.

Nor me :?

Either it's a reference to spending money cos the world could be demolished tomorrow - "did you not see the planning application?" - a critique on somebody's awful poetry... or something to do with fluffy towels?

Ah, probably I was being too cryptic...

As the Vogons were coming, the dolphins escaped stating, "thanks for all the fish".

Well, after four Elises (fish), I thought I would escape and try something new....

Simples.
